Calling all aspiring archaeologists! An icon of Inca civilization, Machu Picchu was built for the Inca emperor Pachacuti around 1450 A.D. This historical gem was voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007 and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
